Jeff Miller discusses the new sponsorship program with Pakistan CC. Accompanied by Paul Mowatt, and Trevor Harris.

With the growing popularity of the SFCA and recent announcement of the signing of a sponsorship deal with COUNTY LINE CHIROPRACTIC CENTERS, the executives of the SFCA on Sunday July 29th set out to take a tour of as many games as possible and explain what the deal means to everyone involved. By this we get a chance to reintroduce ourselves to the members and at the same time answer questions. Many times meetings are convened with clubs with many being absent or the information does not make it back to the members which the information is intended. Members of the touring team included President Jeff Miller, Vice President Mike Bennett, Secretary Trevor Harris, Treasurer Hylton Gordon and Assistant secretary/Treasurer Paulton Hall. The team visited the Jammers II C.C vs. Islanders C.C., the Jammers I vs. Osswald Park C.C., West Indies Alliance vs. Ambassadors C.C., Leewards United vs. Challangers C.C., and Cavalier C.C. vs. Broward C.C. games and received a warm welcome. They expressed delight in seeing the executives taking the time out to come out together and visit with them. The team fielded many questions and concerns by members and will look at some of the suggestions given.

On Sunday August 5th a second group of executives consisting of President Jeff Miller, Secretary Trevor Harris, Treasurer Hylton Gordon, Assistant Secretary/Treasurer Paulton Hall, and Committee Member Paul Mowatt visited with Broward United C.C. vs. Leeward United C.C. and Pakistan C.C. vs Islanders C.C. The response to our presence was the same.

As President Miller and VP Mike Bennett explained, the sponsorship deal with COUNTY LINE is worth over $ 25,000 and benefits all the clubs of the alliance with the bulk of the money going towards uniform and awards presentation. With this deal comes responsibility and in the words of the president, just as we go to work and perform a task to get paid, the sponsors will need something in return. Teams will be required to wear the designated uniform and the sponsor’s logo displayed prominently at the grounds. Much focus will also be place on discipline and cases of indiscipline will be handled swiftly and decisively. Sponsors will be attending games and no type of indiscipline will be tolerated. Teams will also be required to submit match report immediately via phone, fax or the internet. This will enable the website to be updated and the various media houses can obtain the information readily.
